We saw the Buckeyes!

It definately wasn't the best game the Buckeye's have played (we did win thought), but it didn't matter, Jerry and I got to have our 10th Anniversary Date! I loved going to the game and being in the Buckeye Nation atmosphere!!! It is such an experience! It was almost a surreal feeling! The colors themselves are so bright and vibrant (considering everything is Red and White). The sounds of TBDBITL, the cheers from the fans, and the O-H-I-O every little bit, oh and the bell that is rung for the 3rd Down to pump up the Fans for the Defense. Can you tell I loved it and would LOVE to go back!!! Don't get me wrong...I like watching from my couch, but it is such an experience! Jerry had a good time too! It was fun to do something, just us for a change. We don't do that very often, which is fine...we love hangin' out with our friends, but it is nice to hang w/ the hubby every now and again!! :)
I'm going to add a slide show of the pics from the game. Our seats were actually better than the e-bay ad stated. They said 35 -40 yard line. But we were actually on the 46 yard line and only about 30-35 rows from the field! Yes, AWESOME!
Halloween is coming... Trick or Treat has been announced for the 25th. The girls are happy...now we just have to find an outfit for Laine. This weekend so much is going on..still trying to figure it out. We must get a costume, the Apple Festival, Otterbein's Homecoming (our 10th reunion), racing, and of course cleaning and laundry (oh yeah and studying). I must make a decision soon! I promised Natalie I'd call her back by today...oops...sorry Nat, call ya tomorrow!

If you are an addict to blogs as I have become. I must tell you of another one I'm loving right now. www.4littlemen.blogspot.com . Jen got me hooked on this....Thank you! This young lady has 4 young boys and now a set of girl twins! The pictures are just toooo cute.

Well, I'll catch you all later. Stay posted for the pics...hopefully yet tonight...we'll see!

FRIDAY IS THE BIG DAY!!

I had said in my last post that Friday is the big day, but does anyone know what Friday is? Well, to most of you it is just another "last day of the work week", to Jordyn it is her 3rd birthday, but here in the Spoor household it is....drum-roll, please! Jerry & I have been married 10 years today!!!! Yes, I know hard to believe, and maybe some of you didn't think we'd make it even 5 years, but we have and we are going strong! The child bearing is done...now to the next phase of our relationship...helping them grow up to strong young women. I know we have a long way to go, but just think when we have our 20th Ann. Laine will be 18 (off to college or off working), Grace will be 16 (ugh- driving...don't even want to think of that) and Emma will be a teenager, almost (12 and three-quarters).

Anyway, Jerry and I have had our differences, but have learned to live with them, embrace our strengths and forgive our weaknesses. The last ten years have flown by and have been the best years of my life!!! So many memories that I can't even start to count! I just want to say, "Jerry, I love you with all of my heart forever and always, and Go BUCKS!"

For our Anniversary, I have bought us tickets to Saturdays OSU game at Ohio Stadium against Purdue. We will be in Section 22A 35 - 40 yard line...looks like good seats...we'll see. I hope he enjoys my gift! Dan & Danni have so sweetly volunteered to watch the girls for us. Weather looks great too! I'm really looking forward to our afternoon away!

I am attaching 2 pictures from our wedding day!

The happy couple.

Our beautiful wedding party! Does anyone know these people?
Thanks to all of you who have stood behind/beside us through this journey so far! We are very lucky to have you! Happy 10th, Honey!!!!

More fall activities

Once again, like a child repeating you every word, we were busy last week and this week appears to make no exception! We have had volleyball games and practices; lots of homework; starting to take my 1st CPCU course; moving a garage; hanging out w/ Aunt Trisha (who by the way is having little girl at the end of Feb.); photo shoot; racing; cheering on the Buckeyes and of course laundry!

Laine and Grace are doing pretty good in V-ball and Emma has made a new friend, Olivia. They like to play when their big sisters are playing volleyball.

Yes, Aunt Trisha has had her ultra-sound and it appears there will be another little girl in the family! How exciting! I'm going to be planning a shower for her....this will be sooo fun!! If anyone has any great ideas that they have seen please let me know.

Speaking of babies, Nikki, my friend from work, came in today and I got to hold little Noah. He is so perfect. He is very inquisitive, alert, and strong. His mommy and daddy are doing a great job, because he was so intent and happy. Thanks for sharing, Nikki!! We miss you!

Sunday, Jerry came home from a race early and decided to move the garge. See Jerry tore down a house and the garage was supposed to go too. Except the garage was in excellent condition...a 1 car garage, so Jerry decided we could use it. They loaded it up with the 2 backhoes onto the trailer to bring it here. Then last Thursday/Friday, he poured a cement pad for the garge. It was supposed to go smooth and pretty quick. Well, 5 hours later they were still trying different ideas! Needless to say, it was getting kinda touch and go around here. Everyone was getting frustrated. They would lift it up with the crane and it would lean way over to one side and then to the back or to the front. I thought it was going to fall and crash into pieces more than once. They finally figured out a plan and moved the trailer from underneath it and moved it almost all the way over to the pad, when it fell, but it fell almost perfectly in place....AMAZINGLY! So it has been salvaged! Yeah. I'm attaching some pics of it. Quite a show!

We have my Educational Banquet tomorrow night for work at the Willow Bend. A great meal and some money...what can be better than that?!?

Friday is a big day... I'll post more on that later. Enjoy the nice weather!!!

I almost forgot..I took a couple shots of the girls in their Buckeye gear. Pretty cute, if I do say so myself. :)
