New Do 2 !!

I now only have one daughter with long hair! Laine went under the scissors this morning at 7am. Hers is just a little longer than Graces but not much. It makes her look older I think. How about you?

Friday night we went over to Dale & Amy's house. Jerry and Dan helped work on the barn, and us gals and kiddos just went for some laughs and socializing and some CORNHOLE! The first games of the year. We really are no good, but we have tons of fun playing!

This picture shows everyone that night...

I was amazed everyone was in the shot (except me..which is good for you :)

I actually caught the bag coming at me! (look at top right corner)

These girls are going to get into a LOT of trouble as they grow up and be best of friends...

just look at those faces!

Loaded up and Ready to Race!!!

All loaded up and ready to start the racing season of 2009! Hopefully we'll start out with a win!
Jerry, Dan, Andy (and also Trent - he can't go next weekend to Indy so he's going to go along this weekend to Muncie). It should be a beautiful day at the track! The girls and I won't be going, but we can't wait to hear all about it!

Good Luck Daddy and Dan! Have fun and be careful!

New DO!

This morning Grace left looking like this: (Ok so it wasn't a picture from this morning...geesh!)

Then after school Daddy took her to his Barber shop and she looked like this - (thank you Daddy for taking pictures like Mommy wanted):

When I got home from work she looked like this:

She loves flipping her new do around. I think it looks great! She hasn't had it this short in a LONG time!

Now Laine says she wants hers cut up to her chin....we will see!
Emma doesn't want to have her hair cut. But here is a pic of her showing off her new swimsuit...just waiting for the water to warm up!!!

Our Egg-citing Morning!

Happy Easter Weekend, Everyone! This morning I got up early and ran (OK - drove) out to Walmart to get some items we needed and ran across the egg decorating kits....we haven't done this for a LONG time - pre Emma to be eggsact. Laine doesn't even remember decorating them before! (I know, what a bad Mommy) So, since Jerry and the kids had mentioned doing it I decided to break down and get some eggs and the kit. I stopped at Mickey D's picked up 1 large coffee, 1 large latte and 3 hot cakes for the girls. I know real nutritional, but hey once in a while can't be that bad...right?!? When I got home the girls were still sleeping, but it didn't take long for the hotcakes to do their thing and wake them up. We then had to do eggs right away! Emma didn't even want to eat, but we convinced her we had to wait for the eggs to cool so she had time to eat.

Before
They had fun, and it wasn't as bad as I had remembered.
During

Now all Emma keeps saying is, "Mommy, I wan tuh eat dat egg!" They sure make an eggceptional family! We all hope you have a wonderful Easter!
